About this time last year, we started transitioning our small group service that was in place for COVID restrictions, and began developing our STEP program we have today!!
Since then we have been able to take out so many individuals to fun activities, volunteer opportunities, learning opportunities, and more.
This has offered a wonderful opportunity for individuals to go have fun, volunteer, and learn as a group. It has also been a great chance to make connections in the community because almost everywhere we go we're making friends!
We are now starting to take our Career Academy out to volunteer, and have been taking out Adult Day Program to fun events! We are excited to continue improving and evolving this service, but most importantly we are excited to continue offering chances for individuals to spend more time out in the community instead of in our building or at home.
