Our Career Academy has been working a few days a week at Corso's. They have been cutting strips of ribbon and other materials that are used in Corso's Christmas decorations and during the "Make it and take it... Holiday Porch Pot" events.
Career Academy's primary focus is classroom education that focuses on preparing for the workforce. To practice their work skills, our career academy participants have the opportunity to work at local businesses. Sometimes that is products that we help assemble in the classroom and send back to the business, and sometimes we go to the business and help assemble products like we are at Corso's.
