Congratulations to Mickey Mart and associates for winning the Community Builder Award. Mickey Mart has been a great employer. They have employed many of our individuals with disabilities, tailoring the job positions for them as needed. Working with their Director of Personnel and Development, Mike Eirons, has made it easy to find positions best fitted for our individuals, and where they are needed at Mickey Mart.
ANCOR is a national organization that supports the development of programs and education that improves the quality of life for people with disabilities. Their Community Builder Award “recognizes exemplary and praiseworthy initiatives of individuals, communities, and/or community-based organizations that create community inclusivity through opportunities for people with disabilities to build social capital and live full, meaningful lives in their community, as contributing and valued members of their community.”
