We were glad to be back in person for our Talent Show & Spaghetti Dinner last Thursday, March 24th. Our event was canceled in 2020, and we tried it virtual in 2021, and needless to say we're glad to be back! We were able to raise $1,606 for our outdoor sensory area.
Folks came out to support us by purchasing a spaghetti dinner, 50/50 tickets, and raffle tickets! We had some delicious food donated from local businesses Capizzi's Pizzeria, Ward's Catering, Mrs. Fields, Chick-fil-a, Norwalk Eagles #711 with additional donations from Norwalk furniture, Aramark, and Gordan Food Service Store.
After our dinner, we enjoyed a variety of talents from individuals in Erie County. We had singers, dancers, comedians, and sign language performers. Unfortunately, we had 3 talents who were at home sick, but we were able to share their recording on the projector.
We announced raffle basket winners towards the end of the show. Thank you to those businesses who donated raffle baskets! Cold Water K9, Blissfully MAde, Balance Nutrition, and PicNest Luxury Picnics. And a big thank you to Faith Church for allowing us to use their space!
