The Sensory Room would like to recognize our friend Waylen. Waylen was actually the first visitor to our Sensory Space after we opened to the public. He visited quite a few times in the early days, but then moved out of town and was unable to come in anymore.
Waylen and his family have moved back to the area, and he had an appointment with us last week. He was excited to figure out how to change the colors in the room. We were so excited to see the growth in Waylen, he is counting and using so many more words. He is much more social, and his mom is excited about him starting school in the fall. Waylen is going to make the Sensory Space part of his weekly routine again!
